A Daisy Delight First Communion

Sorry I have been absent as of late.  Our family had a virus stick around for two weeks, and then it was a mad dash to get ready for my son’s first communion.  I had such a great time playing with some of the products from the new catalog as I decorated for his party.

Aren’t those flowers cute!  I thought they were perfect for such an innocent occasion as a child’s first communion.  And, they were all stamped and punched with the new Daisy Delight Bundle.  I bought floral wire stems from the craft store, and bent one end of each into a little circle.  Then I punched two small circles, and used tear n tape to adhere on each side of the stem.  Finally, I stamped the daisies in daffodil delight, punched them out, and adhered them onto the top circle using tear n tape.

I made the favor boxes using the new wood crate framelits and wood texture designer series paper stack.  This crate is soooo easy to put together, and added great rustic charm to the party.  You cut out two crates, and adhere them together with tear n tape.  Seriously could not be easier! You are going to adore the wood paper as well.  It is so realistic!

And, finally a picture of the first communion boy.
